Undyed wools are naturally neutral in color - black and white, shades of gray or brown. In this five-step series, felt and natural yarns are entwined together in loosely arranged compositions on canvas painted in direct color opposition from black to white. While in large part a visual play, the subtext speaks to the title and the fact that not much in our life experience is just simply black and white but rather shades of gray.
